Returns
F.Durrant & Son will refund or exchange and unsoiled item (with ticketing and labels still attached) returned to us within 28 days of original delivery date. You can claim a full refund less postage or alternatively exchange any item. (Website Purchase Only)
We advise that you use the Post Office Parcel service with appropriate insurance, for parcels valued over £20 or if the parcel is valued below £20 obtain a proof of postage certificate.
F.Durrant & Son is not liable for returned parcels in transit, in the event of any claim it is the sender who is responsible for processing the claim.
Damaged or Faulty goods
In the unfortunate event of an item being faulty or damaged in your opinion is due to a manufacturing error please return the item immediately for inspection.
Please note: We may have to return the item to the manufacturer for inspection. Items deemed to be a manufacturing fault will be replaced free of charge.
Delivery
F.Durrant & Son will try to dispatch all orders within 48 hours of the order being received, however this may always not be possible, due to unforeseen events such as items being temporally out of stock. Therefore please allow up to 28 days for delivery.
Should the item not be delivered within the first 28 days of purchase the option of order cancellation and a full refund of that item is available.
We use 3 methods of delivery, Royal Mail which will be delivered with your normal mail, couriers who deliver next business day after dispatch, leaving a card if a no-one is present at the address, they will require a signature so it is important to provide us with a manned address for delivery or instructions. Finally we may have goods dispatched direct from manufacturer.
Should your order be returned to us undelivered, we reserve the right to charge a redelivery fee for sending the goods out a second time.

Postage and Packing costs
Our postage and packing charges work on a sliding scale, in an attempt to be fair to all. This scale is designed to work on approximate weight (the heavier the items are, the more it will cost for delivery). Our postage and packing charges range from £0.00 GBP to £40.00 GBP. The postage you will be charged on an order can be viewed in the shopping basket.
Some products have a fixed postage cost that will be added to your overall delivery cost. A product may have a fixed cost due to a special offer on postage of that product or due to the size and the weight of the item.
F.Durrant & Son may offer free postage on selected items or orders over a certain value. Should these orders be returned to us for reasons other than a fault, F.Durrant & Son reserve the right to charge a handling fee of £7.50 GBP per consignment, to cover administration costs.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Due to changes in the law (VCR Act – Oct 2007) you have to be 18 years or older to purchase any air gun or moderator. Guns and moderators CANNOT be delivered to your home address by post and must be collected from our store or sent to a firearms dealer of your choice for collection.
